The 248th meeting of the American Chemical Society (ACS) opened in January of 2014, the period of submission of works for the event that will occur from 10 to 14/August in San Francisco, California.
The congress will have as central subject, related to global aspects of chemistry for sustainability of the natural resources, including green chemistry, the globalization of chemistry and the responsibility of the chemical in our society.
Also subjects related to the role of science, technology, innovation, economic development and natural resources will be argued. It will be dedicated special attention for the international perspectives how much the critical questions as the water supply and energy and the solutions for the limitations and restrictions of basic resources for the population. Methods to inform the public on the roler of chemistry and to intensify the contribution between chemistries of different parts of the world, also will be argued.
