My main lines of research in CIBFar are: Develop classic, dynamic and functional studies related to Natural Products Chemistry in the search for bioactive substances and contribute to the understanding of the mechanisms of biosynthesis of the same ones in order to support the availability (increased production) of the same ones, in vitro biological evaluation and in vivo by omics techniques, including metabolic engineering.
