My main lines of research in CIBFar are: medicinal chemistry and planning of drugs, with emphasis in neglected diseases and cancer. The works concentrate in enzyme kinetic and mechanism of reactions; design of enzyme inhibitors and receptor ligands; biochemical and biological assays; SAR studies; molecular modeling of drugs; generation of databases and pharmacokinetic studies.
