My main lines of research in CIBFar are: Applications of structural biology and medicinal chemistry in the development of new drugs, with particular emphasis in Brazilian endemic diseases. Integrated use of techniques of molecular biology, biochemistry, protein crystallography, molecular modeling and cellular biology in rational planning of bioactive molecules.
