CIBFar researchers receive higher honors in the scientific area of the Country

In a ceremony held last Tuesday, October 17, at the Noble Hall of the Planalto Palace in Brasilia, personalities linked to the scientific milieu, researchers, professors and leaders of entities received the insignia referring to the National Order of Scientific Merit. Established in 1993, it honors those who have contributed significantly to the advancement of science and its development in Brazil.

Professor of the Chemistry Institute of UNESP-Araraquara, Vanderlan da Silva Bolzani, in the area of chemical sciences, was one of those admitted to the Order, in the Comendador class.

Professor Glaucius Oliva of  São Carlos Institute  of Physics (IFSC/USP), in the area of Biomedical Sciences, was promoted to the Grã-Cruz class.
