Professor of São Carlos Institute of Physics receives USP Award “Trajectory for Innovation – 2017”

The USP Research Council (CoPq), in its 149th Meeting, held on December 06, in São Paulo, five professors who will receive the USP “Trajectory for Innovation” Award (Edition 2017). Among the laureates is the professor and researcher of the São Carlos Institute of Physics  (IFSC / USP), Prof. Glaucius Oliva.

The Research Council of USP is a structure linked to the Pro-Rectory of Research, whose mission is to stimulate scientific research, particularly to have an interdisciplinary character and to promote postdoctoral activities. The Research Council is responsible for drawing up the guidelines that guide the University’s action in the field of Research, obeying the general norms established by the University Council, as well as ensuring, through permanent evaluations, the quality of work and the appropriateness of the means for the purposes of each program.

The achievement of the USP Award “Trajectory for Innovation – 2017” (2017 Edition) is a pride for the entire IFSC / USP community and for USP itself.
